Our School

The school program at the Boys and Girls Home of Alaska is provided through a contract with Family Centered Services of Alaska.  Students are enrolled as members of the Fairbanks North Star Borough (FNSB) School District.

The educational program is one of several components in the comprehensive treatment plan for each student.  Our program provides services for students from ages seven to eighteen.  Students attend school five days a week for approximately seven hours each day.  Included in this time are scheduled individual and/or group therapy sessions on a weekly, or as-needed, basis.
